Recent Projects are shown below. Other examples of my work can be found on the website pages.

Sequence 3 Fused Glass Wall Panel - 420mm x 600mm
One of a series of wall mounted panels, it is made from 224 separate pieces of glass, fused in a kiln to make a single panel. This design lets light through, so that the coloured shadows on the wall contribute to the visual richness of the panel. Although modern in style, the rectangles are based on the classical proportion - the 'Golden Section'.

Price including wall mounts - £450

Interior Leaded Panel
This is one of five panels designed for a Glasgow tenement flat. The panels are fitted over the internal doors. the overall effect was to turn a plain hallway into a striking feature. The funtional windows for each room became design features.

Dunblane Masonic Lodge

I recently the restoration of a window for Dunblane Masonic Lodge. Made up of four panels, the window was made in 1891 and features two large figures with emblems above. The panels are finely painted with some breakage and a general deterioration in condition of the leadwork. The restoration involves reproducing some painted sections, UV Gluing to repair breaks, and rebuilding the panels with new leads. This work is carried out in the studio, prior to re-fitting the finished panels.

Below are the restored lower panels. The inscription at the bottom of the right panel had been broken and a replacement was painted and fitted.

This is a recent leaded panel for a front door in Callander. The design was developed from a mosaic patterned front step at the house. Approx. size 820mm x 440mm.

This mirror is hinged and hides an electrical cupboard. It is made from oak with glass insets. It is basedon Macintosh motifs and was made for an original Arts and Crafts house in Glasgow.

'Kirta'
is an artwork exhibited at the Scottish Glass Society exhibition 'Migrate' at Broadfield House Glass Museum, West Midlands in 2010. It is made of cast, fused black glass, with metallic silver. The frame is painted wood. The image is based on Viking iconography and was inspired by a cast of a Viking doorway in the V&A Museum. Size: 100cm x 120cm
