Architectural Glass
Architectural Glass includes
non-domestic projects and larger domestic projects. Increasingly
architects and interior designers are specifying decorative glasswork
as a feature of new and refurbished buildings, home extensions,
conservatories etc. This can include doors and windows, foyers,
boardrooms, atriums, reception area features, room dividers, screens
and cupolas.
Ramoyle Glass Studio is able to undertake large and small projects,
working closely with architects, builders and clients to produce striking focal
points within a building project.
Decorative glass techniques include:
• Traditional Leaded Glass
• Copper Foiled Glass
• Fused Glass splashbacks, tiles and decorative panels
• Sand and Acid Etched designs
• Painted and Silver Stained designs
• Toughened / Laminated Glass
• Stained Glass panels sealed inside Double Glazing panels
This panel for a home in Aberdeen replaced modern textured glass and
was a reproduction of original leaded glass from a neighbour.
These privacy panels were fitted to a country cottage in Strathyre.

This door
panel was the central piece in a glazed vestibule, made for a
traditional home in Aberdeen to restore the original leaded panels
which had been replaced by 'modern' glass in the 70's.

This panel is one of two fitted to internal doors.

A large front door panel in Stirling.

One of three privacy panels for a ground floor bay window.
